Brief Report on IMTOF 2024
A record number of 410 Exhibits including 104 International Brands participated in the event spread over 12,000 sqm space in 3 Exhibition Halls.
Thiru S. Seetharaman, Chairman of Super Auto Forge Pvt. Ltd., Inaugurated IMTOF 2024 at a grand function on April 18, 2024. Thiru T.A.B. Barathi, Senior Vice President (SCM) of Wheels India Ltd. (TVS), presided over the inaugural ceremony, with Thiru S. Ilangovan, Principal Director (Purchase: Civil & Technical Infrastructure), serving as the Guest of Honour.
The attendees showcased an extensive array of machine tools integrating information technology into machinery aimed at monitoring production processes, automating manufacturing, and employing data analytics to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce costs, save time, and enable mass production.

The promotional strategy for IMTOF 2024 was specifically tailored to attract relevant visitors such as decision-makers, procurement professionals, R&D specialists, engineers, and management teams. However, due to the unexpected announcement of the General Election on 19 April 2024, coinciding with the second day of the event and subsequent two-day holidays, many attendees had to travel to their hometowns, leading us to postpone the event by one day. Despite this challenge, our extensive advertising efforts across multiple platforms including airports, railway stations, metro stations, auto tops, bus backs, newspapers, trade magazines, FM radio, television, and social media, as well as strategically placed banners in industrial estates and major events, yielded significant results. According to registration data, a record-breaking 32,080 business visitors attended the event.
An additional highlight was the attendance of CEOs and decision-makers from prominent manufacturing firms as Special Guests of Honor throughout the five-day event, often accompanied by their teams of professionals.
Feedback collected from participants at the close of the event revealed a high satisfaction rate, with 99% expressing contentment with the business opportunities generated at IMTOF 2024. Additionally, the majority expressed their intention to participate in the next edition scheduled for April 2 to 6, 2026. Participants were particularly pleased with the quality of visitors, who, in turn, appreciated the relevance of the showcased Machine Tools and Metal Forming Technology to their manufacturing processes. This mutually beneficial scenario resulted in a win-win situation for both exhibitors and visitors.
The overwhelmingly positive feedback from both exhibitors and visitors alike was truly gratifying, underscoring the dedication and hard work of the IMTOF 2024 Team.
The success of any exhibition hinges directly on the caliber of exhibitors and their presentations, the quality of visitors and their objectives, and the organizers' proficiency in event management. IMTOF 2024 is fortunate to have excelled in all these facets, leading to its remarkable achievement.
